Version 9-0

   -Backgrounds can be uploaded from your computer
   -Added a set of expand blocks

   -Coins that come out of coin blocks appear behind their host block

   -Sledge Bro has been moved to the list of giant stuff
   -Pow blocks have been moved to the "Special Blocks" category
   -Bullit Bills fire on the leftmost side of the screen
   -The moving flip blocks do not leave occasional gaps as they travel
   -Fixed and issue with Spike Tops starting on the right side of a wall
   -Fixed a problem with slopes not fully removing
   -Fixed a problem with Mario appearing in the top corner of the screen
   -Yoshi can eat red and blue springs, but they disappear is time runs out!
   Note: If loading version 8 files, some things may need to be redone, specifically items and water pieces

Version 9-1

   -If Mario dies in a shell dash, the shell removes
   -Shell Mario doesn't look funny when he picks up a subcon enemy
   -Fixed a bug with the item block display
   -The up red arrow button works on sound selection
   -Activating a pswitch while a pswitch timer is already going will only restart the timer
   -After Mario goes on the ending pole, he remains affected by hills and gravity
   -Fixed an error when uploading music to the overworld
   -Fixed some problems with springs getting thrown or spit into the walls

Version 9-2

   -Fixed a bug with removing ghost houses. May or may not have been the reported bug
   -In editor mode, the esc key will go to the main menu
   -Mario can slide down the extra shallow slopes
   -Fixed a problem involving the function of the tool that moves pieces around
   -Enemies appear infront of non-solid SMW pieces

Version 9-3

   -Shell Mario can ride Yoshi
   -The Shell dash doesn't go off the left side of the course
   -Fixed an error when Shell Mario runs up a Shell
   -Fixed a problem with the blue shell in the reserve box.

   -A beta Luigi has been added. Luigi can be accessed through course properties
   -Luigi sprites can be used in the title screen editor
   -Changed a few depth levels with the graphics

   -Shell Mario displays correctly when going into doors
   -Fixed and adjusted some things with nipper plant jumping

Version 9-5

   -Luigi can be used in the overworld as a second subcategory

   -Stationary springs and pswitches don’t have a shaky vertical position
   -Fixed a problem with counting time at the end of courses
   -Run-away Yoshi can run past the top of a slope

   -Invincible stars kill bosses except for Bowser
   -Checkpoints work after boss battles

Version 10-0

   -Added some more "solids" in the overworld, namely World E tiles
   -Added pipes in the overworld that warp to other worlds
   -Added peach who talks like the txt toad
   -Added a moving platform that waits for Mario to jump on it before it moves
   -Added two new custom powerups by Krool/MML through the engine challenge: Bowser Shell Mario and Spark Mario
   -Added a game settings option in the title screen editor. You can now...
        >Set number of lives for the game
        >Disable spin jumping
        >Enable mario&luigi(new) voice sounds
        >Allow levels to be replayed
        >Enable all powerups to be included in chests or just stadard ones
   -Added the keyhole and red flagpole as two new secret exits. Courses completed via the secret exit will reveal hidden neighbor map points in the overworld
   -Added a volume setting on the Mario Builder main menu options
   -Added the yoshi egg and star as items that don't need to come from a block
   -Added a question block that is enabled with the p-switch
   -Added a question block on wings
   -Added the yellow, green, red, and blue color blocks that are activated with their corosponding switch
   -Special blocks have a tile set that you can select from
   -Improved Game Icon
   -New "find" tool will find an item category for you.
   -Tile sets can now be imported in the overworld and course. This makes almost all graphics besides objects and characters completely customizable.
   -An example tile set that you can import has been included in Upload_Files
   -Added a set of invisible objects that are solid, jumpthrough, climbable, swimable, and can hurt Mario. Good for imported tile sets
   -Powerups, springs, vines, and some other items can be placed on blocks, bricks, noteblocks, and flipblocks to make them spawn that particular item
   -Powerups and some other item can be placed on chests to make the chest spawn the particular item instead of spawning a random item
   -When you start a new project, Mario Builder can run in simple mode. This mode is for those who don't understand the level editor, spawn id's, and linking.
   -A storyline can now be written. Each world has the option for a preceeding "story". (The story is ignored if using warp pipes)
   -Jumping physics have been made more authentic to SMB3. Games of earlier versions should be tested that  all jumps can still be reached
   -Improved the graphics for the sledge bro in the overworld
   -The example file has a few small improvements and additions
   -When Yoshi is in the overworld, Mario is shown riding Yoshi
   -Fixed a glitch when you press down on a slope in a shell dash
   -Fixed a glitch with the appearance of items in the title screen editor
   -Fixed the item text for Mario and Luigi in the title screen editor
   -Fixed an error with Sandbox save files and "normal" save files messing each other up
   -Fixed an error with items forgetting their spawn id when moved around in the overworld
   -The clear random item block has been moved to the special block item category
   -Made a slight fade on item blocks in editor mode so the block type is more obvious
   -The "L" for Luigi displays properly in the overworld during gameplay
   -Autoscroll levels will begin with a better positon of the view. You don't need to start on the far left side anymore.
   -Flower powerups animate
   -New games can be properly started with the example file
   -Some swimming things are more realistic
   -Fireleaf descends at normal speed
   -Moving platforms are less "glitchy".
   -Points automatically change color in the overworld when the background changes
   -Moving platforms can follow more complex path plotted out with arrows
   -Moving paths can be stopped with the "E" icon in the direction items. They will fall shortly after
   -Springs and other items that can be held are influenced by moving platforms
   -Made some improvements in how the game views files. Hopefully there won't be any more rare cases of lost files
   -Made storm sound effects less noisy
   -Continued work on improving the game's speed
   -Updated the manual

Version 10-1

   -Fixed an error with the overworld gate not being destroyed
   -Fixed an error with the winged q-block giving an item twice
   -Fixed an error where the music in the overworld wouldn't save.
   -Fixed the odd font used in Message boxes
   -Fixed an issue with the hyper koopa (yellow koopa) getting stuck
   -Fixed some problems with the stretch boos
   -Round goombas don't have issues falling off a left edge
   -The spark Mario sprite doesn't change to Bowser Mario as you finish a course
   -Save Toad will still play a sound if voices are off
   -The left overworld selection arrow works correctly

Version 10-2

   -Eerie responds to directional arrows like the block train
   -World stories don't get copied over when you begin a new project
   -Fixed a spawnid problem causing Mario Builder to think you didn't link properly
   -Fixed an issue with the cheep cheep getting stuck in a wall
   -Set max lives amount to 999. Otherwise it goes over other things when displayed on the game screen
   -Mario properly slides down invisible hills
   -Made a new Youtube video demonstrating the many uses of arrows

Version 10-3

   -Added wiggler by SLB12
   -Added kuribo goomba by SLB12
   -Added kuribo shoe by SLB12
   -Added the yellow and blue koopas
   -The crazy hyper koopa has is now orange instead of yellow
   -Added red, yellow, blue and orange (new) yoshis
   -Yoshis behave like in SMW when eating different colored shells. The orange shell is a new yoshi power. Check it out!
   -Corrected some out-of-date information when you right-click the manual button
   -Fixed an issue with the buttons that work with tiles
   -Fixed a glitch which dealt with how uploaded tiles display
   -Fixed a problem with the overworld desert tune
   -Note blocks do a better job spawning items
   -the raccoon tail activates blocks correctly

Version 10-4

   -Fixed some glitches lemmy's ball
   -Fixed a wiggler sprite issue when wiggler starts in the air
   -The flagpole exit uses the correct voice when voices are enabled
   -Fixed a glitch when you kill wiggler with a projectile
   -Luigi doesn't turn into Mario when using the kuribo shoe
   -Mario/Luigi doesn't get hurt when jumping on Morton's shell
   -Fixed some problems with the moving ropes. They now behave like moving platformsrs

Version 10-5

   -Added spark and bowser powerup blocks to the giant block set
   -Fixed a typo when you start a new project
   -Shell Mario/Luigi are in the title screen editor
   -Fixed a moving platform problem
   -Fixed an animation thing with spark Mario/Luigi
   -Fixed a file deleting issue

Version 10-6

   -Created a method where that allows you to make an .exe file of Mario Builder without the need of the EXE Maker.
   -Added joystick controls by Alju5 (note: I haven't been able to test this)
   -Added the large Dino Rhino, The block boo, and 2 different bowser statues by SLB12
   -Secret exit paths don't get revealed if there is a solid item blocking the path
   -Luigi wears gloves in the overworld editor
   -Dino torches are use the SMW sprites, and move a bit faster
   -Rapid placement is enabled by default
   -Fixed a problem with freezing wiggler
   -Wiggler head displays a bit lower in the editor
   -Fixed a problem when placing an end position or title screen selection while the link tool is enabled
   -Fixed a glitch with a freezing bowser
   -Made a couple small changes to the jumping bowser Mario sprite
   -Kuribo's shoe and Yoshi don't get hurt when standing ontop of nipper plants
   -"View Travel" has been renmamed to "View autoscroll"
   -The moving rope responds to arrows like eerie or a block trains
   -Bowser doesn't glitch when he starts in the air
   -In the overworld, hidden pipes on secret paths cannot be warped to
   -Rocky Wrench and Piranha plants appear beneath uploaded tiles
   -Fixed a glitch with the short left-facing piranha plant
   -Fixed a glitch with exits being considered secret
   -Fixed an error with trouble displaying a non-existing background
   -Uploaded overworld tiles do not disappear in published mode
   -Ending a course with a fortress will play the ending music
   -Corrected physics of jumping Chucks, Stars, and Monty Moles
   -Monty Moles move similar to how they did in SMW
   -Fixed a design element in the example file which caused Mario to get stuck

Version 10-7

   -Fixed some joystick problems with Alju5's help
   -Changed how the new exe file method works. You have have to download a separate program. There were too many problems in Version 10-6 with game names getting changed unaware to the user. Download the player here.

 Version 10-8

   -Improved racoon Mario physics
   -The overworld editor includes 3x3 and 5x5 sized ground, water, and lava pieces. Use them. It will help the game run smoother
   -Slopes affect Mario's walking speed
   -Directional arrows have been moved next to the moving blocks
   -Updated the help description of bonus icons in the overworld editor
   -Fixed glitches when Yoshi eats wiggler
   -Updated the error message when you try to test an overworld without a Mario or Luigi
   -When testing the fortress ending with no flagpole, the game will add up your time points
   -Enemies will harm Mario if he holds a shell yet faces away from them
   -Piranha plants start in their pipes so that Mario doesn't get hurt if he warps out of them at the start of a course
   -Starman and Pswitch music return to the boss music if you are fighting a boss
   -Fixed a glitch with uploading backgrounds not appearing in published mode
   -Fixed a glitch when a star power runs out while sliding
   -Fixed an error when yoshi is hurt with tongue out
   -Fixed a glitch when shell dashing into a flagpole.
   -Fixed a glitch when you left click on the overworld lights during gameplay
   -Fixed a glitch when entering a fortress ending with no flagpole and no time limit
   -Fixed a glitch involving the appearance of Mario/Luigi in the overworld editor
   -Star power time has been slightly adjusted

Version 10-9

   -Added Hotfoot, Mechakoopa, and Mega Mole by SLB12 though the engine challenge
   -Added Dark Spiney (from Mario Forever) by Alju5 through the engine challenge. Dark spiney is a spiney with a stronger shell
   -Buzzy Beetles will only retreat to their shells when they are hit by a hammer
   -The missing background issue has been readdressed
   -"T" was added as a hotkey for testing worlds and courses
   -A yoshi with a key in its mouth can activate keyholes
   -Large ground pieces can't be placed outside the overworld boundaries
   -Ptooie doesn't loose its ball
   -After a boss fight, the course music will wait to play if a pswitch or starman is still in effect
   -large ground pieces delete easier
   -Corrected the missing 2nd bridge piece in the overworld item chain
   -Fixed an invisible block glitch involving block trains
   -Fixed a couple things with the bowser mario shell dash
   -Fixed a glitch with the message block
   -Fixed a glitch with the blue snifit having trouble appearing on land
   -Fixed some things with messages and message boxes

Version 10-10

   -Spiney comes out from being stuck upsidedown properly
   -Digging sand is a little easier
   -Mario is unable to hold things while in shell dash
   -Fixed glitches that occur while digging sand with specific powerups
   -Fixed the glitch between pyramids and rocks in the overworld
   -Fixed a glitch with the spiney egg causing some minor crashes
   -Fixed the background in the sandbox menu
   -Fixed a problem with Mario being in the tanooki statue form for too long
   -Fixed a problem when you hit a round goomba or mecha koopa with a tail attack
   -Fixed a problem when floating racoon or tanooki Mario use a springy object
   -Fixed a problem with gates not removing after completing certain fortresses/ghost houses
   -Fixed a typo with the bonus switch
   -Fixed the storyline text distortion
   -Fixed a problem with custom backgrounds
   -Fixed a background problem in world 2 of the example file
   -Fixed a problem with castle baddies getting misplaced in the item chain
   -Fixed a glitch with some items not displaying when you move them
   -Fixed a glitch with changing box size when you pick up and replace an item
   -Fixed a glitch which made items in the overworld difficult to remove
   -Fixed a glitch with double placement in the overworld editor
   -Fixed an issue with items falling out of invisible block
   -Fixed a glitch with the shell dash into the kuribo shoe
   -Fixed a gltich with the shell dash into a warp pipe
   -Shell Dash works smoother on slopes
   -Mario won't jerk in the opposite direction from coming out of a shell dash
   -Bowser Castles can be placed on the lowest part of the map
   -Both bridge types in the overworld are visible in the item chain
   -The dismount from Yoshi is smoother

 Version 10-11

   -The black "super flower" appears correctly in the roulette box
   -Fixed a couple spelling errors
   -Invisible blocks activated when struck by a moving shell
   -Fixed a glitch with selection of hill tiles
   -Fixed a glitch with vertically tileing uploaded backgrounds
   -Podoboo cannot be spin-jumped on while it is in the lava

Version 11-0 (More like a 10-12 but whatever...)

   -Many kinds of enemies can be placed ontop of a pipe opening. This will cause them to continually spawn from that pipe.
   -Added an invisible text block
   -Added the pink piranha plant by Alju5 through the engine challenge
   -Added the ice bro by lukasmah through the engine challenge
   -Added Ice bro to the overworld
   -Boom Boom and Koopalings must take multiple shots from flower and hammer attacks to count as damage
   -Pow blocks will drop coins suspended in the air
   -Reserve item falls quicker when you use it
   -Removed SM64 Lethal Lava, and changed SMB3 Fortress music. This cut 14mb off the file size
   -Fixed a glitch with loaded music playing over other music
   -Fixed a glitch when you jump off orange yoshi
   -Fixed a glitch with moving items inside blocks
   -Simplified a small part of area 2 in the example file

Version 11-1

   -Mario doesn't fall through large castle blocks
   -The p-switch will return giant bricks into coins and back to giant bricks
   -Red and yellow springs always come out if you put them in bricks
   -Water does not appear over most objects in editor mode

Version 11-2

   -Added a copy button, allowing you to select any item which is already on the screen (Like an eyedropper).
   -Added a view button. When enabled in editor mode, the view scrolls toward the mouse if it is outside the game window.
   -All enemies now have the tile selection option.
   -Invisible items now have the tile selection option.
   -Pink Piranha plant fireballs thaw frozen Nipper plants.
   -When Piranha plant fireballs thaw frozen coins, the coins do not remove.
   -Graphic glitches fixed when entering a door on Yoshi.
   -Fixed a glitch causing problem with pipes that spawn enemies.
   -Fixed a glitch so that all climbing fences can be placed.
   -If Mario is paralized by a ground pound (ie, sledge bro) he will not fall through a slope.
   -World 2 Area 5 in the example file has been slightly updated and fixed.
   -Several glitches involving the death of wiggler have been fixed.
   -Monty Mole's spawning point can be placed on solid objects.
   -Wiggler cannot be killed with fireballs, as it is in Super Mario World.
   -The ball piranha glitch has been fixed.
   -Fixed some depth issues in the graphics.
   -The main title screen has been slightly modified.
   -The score does not drop or revert to 0 when you advance worlds in published mode.
   -Some Yoshi color graphics have been modified.
   -Graphic fix for the hiding Giant Boo.
   -Some graphic fixes have been made to the item chain.
   -Corrected an error saying "sound does not exist."
   -Corrected an graphic issue with the sandbox introduction message.

Version 11-3

   -Simple Mode can now be switched over to Advanced Mode (Title Screen Editor, Global Menu).
   -Example file will always begin as publised so a first-time user can play right away.
   -Fixed a glitch with blocks having trouble spawning certain items.
   -Orange end position line will always display in editor mode.
   -Fixed a glitch with the kuribo shoe falling through the ground.
   -Fixed a mistake with the filename in sandbox mode when you click the "file" button.
   -Fixed a tile selection glitch with SMW Ground 1.
   -Errors won't appear if you click "cancel" when uploading a template.
   -Importing courses in sandbox mode will not trigger the welcome message.
   -Fixed a graphic glitch when trying to select tiles after importing courses.
   -View scrolls correctly when the copy button is enabled.
   -Fixed a glitch of invisible Yoshi coming out of a pipe.
   -Lakitu stays at his vertical starting position; he won't follow the vertical view.
   -A few modifications have been made for various pop-up messages in the program.
   -Fixed a glitch with goomba not spawning from pipes.
   -Fixed a glitch with note blocks not responding from being bumped from below.
   -Animation of bumping blocks has been smoothened.
   -Worked on fine-tuning the smaller details of sound, interface, and graphics.

 Version 11-4

   -Added some information concerning files
   -Mario can no longer jump on torpedo enemy
   -Fixed a glitch with jellyfish touching
   -Fixed a glitch with the hoopster enemy on vines
   -Fixed a glitch with warping between courses on an activated pswitch
   -MechaKoopa is immune to fireballs
   -Corrected a small graphic anomaly with the message block
   -There are now two kinds of Lakitus: one that is always at the top of the view, and one that doesn't change height
